Origins of the EB Principles
The Ethical Business Guide was created by Jim Mullaney and the Fairfield Rotary Club in 2004 in an effort to provide clarity and prudent direction towards ethical business practices. The guide was later updated by members of Edoc Service Inc.
Jim Mullaney (founder and CEO of Edoc Service, Inc.) pioneered work-from-home in 1997 by making his company 100% remote, in order to promote autonomy and freedom for his employees. He has always exemplified ethical business practices through his commitment to the good of his employees, staff, customers, vendors, and community.
The Ethical Business guide is brought to you by Edoc Service, Inc. and is distributed free of charge in digital form and at-cost in print form.
We provide and promote this guide in an effort to affirm and deepen ethical values — values which are key to a business’ success, not only financially, but in positively impacting its employees, clients, suppliers, and society.
